She won a CableACE Award in 1991 for her portrayal of a deaf epileptic in Wildflower. She was nominated for a Golden Globe Awward and SAG award in 2006 for her role as the psychic Allison DuBois on NBC's Medium She won an Emmy Award for Outstanding Lead Actress in 2005 for her role as the psychic Allison DuBois on NBC's Medium.

    Oi am I ever so addicted to medium, I can't believe I have to wait till JANUARY!
    I first saw patricia in stigmata....which was a trippy yet extremely cheesy movie....then medium came on!
    Medium is awesome, Patricia you rock the screen! and your family in medium is just like mine. Bridget is my lil sister haha. Just dropped by to show some fan love. Maybe I'll see you in person some day.
